Saint Sebastian

Looking for an artist reference for my art project i came across this figure of Saint Sebastian. Long story short he was a Christian and when ordered to renounce his faith he didn't so he got shot with arrows and left for dead. Many people say that the lack of emotion on his face is due to the fact he was dying knowing he was faithful to God. However he didn't die but the Emperor found out and had him killed anyway. So, why am i telling you this, well i was drawn to the lack of emotion in his face, which relates to my previous post involving Jenny Saville. I found different interpretations from artists such as Botticelli and Caravaggio. Here is my own version of Peter Paul Rubens, Saint Sebastian.
